Adopting Scrum to legacy systems
A legacy system is an old method or way of performing a project. The legacy system I am referring to is Waterfall.
Waterfall is a sequential approach to project development. This particular method has been proven to create technical debt and leaving companies way over budget.
Scrum is a way to continuously deliver parts of a project incrementally. This way has proven to be both time and cost-efficient.
When it comes to migrating a legacy project into Scrum, this will take a lot of work. However not impossible with the right facilitators. This undertaking will require lots of trial-and-error, and adaptation. This can only be achieved with supportive management, that appreciates what agile coaches and Scrum Masters bring to the table. Who do you know that's looking for\could use a scrum master like me?
